I picked level2survey because of the price tbh because it can be a lot of money.

But wow amazing guy Edward great communication from start to finish. He even did my survey early than the date he first stated.

Will definitely recommend him to any body. I loved the fact it was him and not a massive company that gives out contracts to lots of different surveyors. So u dont have a clue who they are. The personal touch is a bonus and was amazed at the surgery that I received with pictures of any problems the property had, when a lot of these other companies dont even have that a part of their packages

We found Edward at Level 2 Surveys online while looking for a RICS Level 2 Home Survey. His quote was the lowest in the area significantly, which initially caught our attention.

I spoke with Edward once on the phone and from that point he handled everything. He contacted the owners directly, arranged access, carried out the inspection and issued the report without any chasing from us. My only involvement was paying the invoice and confirming receipt of the report.

It was straightforward and efficient.

The survey identified two fairly serious defects that would not have come to light without a proper inspection. Those issues could have affected our home insurance and potentially caused problems later. As a result of the report, the seller is now completing the remedial works before completion. That alone justified the fee.

The report itself was clear, well structured and detailed, with supporting photographs and practical explanations. Exactly what you want when making a decision of this scale.

We would use Edward again without hesitation. Hopefully not too soon, as moving house is stressful enough the first time.
